this one time, on the surface of the moon

for reals though, we went to VEGASSS to celebrate the new year. in case you've never taken the drive from orange county to veags, it looks like the surface of the moon. no joke. sadly though, these pictures at a gas-station-on-the-surface-of-the-moon are pretty much the only pictures i took the whole mini-trip cause, well, we were in vegas and i was too occupied with other things to be taking pictures. happy new year, though!!

the anderton family!

i take every chance i get to shoot the beautiful miss danielle anderton [winter or summer, take your pick]. so when she called me asking if i would take her family pictures i jumped at the opportunity. not only were they a breeze to shoot, they are possibly the sweetest people ever and a total blast to work with!

b&w christmas day

the black and white shooting continues! some people don't like it and tell me to switch my camera back to color; but they're just gonna have to wait a bit longer. christmas was a little different this year, with both my sisters being gone and married, so the rest of us hit the beach for a little stroll before the rain came back in and it was fantastic. merry christmas, dolls.

my black & white boat parade

i never really shoot in black and white. it's cute but i think it's slightly overdone and shortcut way to look artistic. that aside, i thought it would be fun to mix things up and shoot ONLY in black and white over the holidays. so far it's been fantastic.

class of 2011

wow! i can't believe that the graduating seniors this year are the class of 2011. i'm so old. anyways, i had the chance to shoot senior pictures for a friend's little sister and it was fabulous. i did alyssa's roommate pictures almost exactly a year ago so it was a fun little reunion too. good luck this year aubry!

just another afternoon

truth be told, i was trying to avoid doing homework. so i coerced my beautiful friends into doing a photo shoot. it was a little less photo shoot a little more walk through nature slash goof off. which i am totalllyyy fine with. also, its afternoons like this that make provo more bearable for me. pretty people, pretty nature, and photography.
